Tea-Stain'd Stickies by Danielle Wright

Enjoy a soothing first-flush sample of Danielle Wright's tea-stained post-its, straight from the misty coast of San Francisco. From green tea to rooibos (and from the looks of it a little wine), Danielle splatters her square canvases with natural color, then plays with the resulting shapes using ink. I'm craving a cup just looking at them!

The Prodigal Adam Returns

And what a majestic beast he has brought to our door! She's house trained, yeh? I keed, I keed.

Sales Goal Series

Working retail can be a real drag (hell, that's why post-it art got started), but people seem to find small ways of staying on the up and up--even if it's in the unique way they scrawl something as blatantly depressing as their daily sales goals. Some of the stickies I've encountered on the sales floor have been deliciously tongue-in-cheek.

The Dog Edition

It was years ago that Danielle started work on her portrait of Beth Chapman, wife to Hawaii's own Dog the Bounty Hunter--and it only took 5 post-its and months of being lost in my right desk drawer to bring it to you, here and now:

Sticky Stories by Grott Grubbel

This week's sticky story will be the first of many weekly short fables (that were likely never read to you as a child) from our Swedish partner, Grott Grubbel. We're jazzed to be working with her, as well as other artists, to roll out some more regular features in the future. Are you ready? We're ready. Let's christen this bad boy!

Check in for another interlude next Wednesday!

Post-Its av Sverige

I believe it was Thomas Jefferson who famously spoke, "Post-It's are the language of the world..." And it is in this entry of international artistic expression that those immortal words ring truer than I have ever known. Haha, enjoy this mountainous donation by our Swedish friends and fellow artists. I have no doubt you'll see their names cropping up in future posts. My only question is, do Swedish stickies have that same rubber glue smell?

energizing maté?

Thanks for filling us in, Allison. Dems is good eggs.

Lost and Found

I found a small cache of long lost post-its in the deep reaches of my right desk drawer. These haven't seen the light of day since 2006, I reckon. The Aaron Bros crew days. This blue man is most obviously Danielle's handiwork. Ally's style I recognize, and these ink blots look like something that dripped out of Adam's brain. Hm, call me crazy, but that last one looks dangerously close to our old break room.
